The new album follows up 2020's 'Starting Over' which reached #1 on Billboard's Country chart and was certified Platinum by the RIAA. Stapleton will be releasing his fifth studio album 'Higher' on November 10th, 2023 via Mercury Nashville. Also during the year, the guitarist will be hitting the road again with George Strait along with support from Little Big Town. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests Allen Stone, Elle King, Grace Potter, Lainey Wilson, Marcus King, Marty Stuart, Nikki Lane, Sheryl Crow, The War and Treaty, Turnpike Troubadours and Willie Nelson. The new 23-city excursion kicks off March 2nd in San Diego and continues into August visiting markets like Winnipeg, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Seattle and Nashville.
